Q: What is the Cash Discount Program?
A: It's a simple way for your business to offset the cost of credit card processing. A small service fee is added to all sales, but customers who pay with cash receive a discount - effectively avoiding the fee. This helps you keep more of your revenue without raising your prices.
Q: How does it work?
A: You'll receive a terminal from PaybotX that automatically adds a service fee for card transactions. If a customer pays with cash, the fee is removed and they pay the posted price. The system handles
automatically everything seamlessly.
Q: Are there any contracts?
A: We do not require contracts for our services or equipment. The only exception is if you choose to use SkyTab equipment, which comes with a 30-month lease agreement. Otherwise, you’re free to use our services with no long-term commitment— though we’re confident you’ll be so happy with us, you won’t want to leave!

Q: Is the Cash Discount Program legal?
A: Yes. When implemented properly (with the right signage and compliant
technology), it is fully legal and falls
within the guidelines of Visa, MasterCard, and major processors. PaybotX provides everything you need to stay compliant.
Q: Do I have to change my prices?
A: No - your current posted prices
become your cash prices. There's no
need to adjust them manually. The
terminal handles the discount
automatically.
Q: Are there any hidden fees?
A: No hidden fees, no application fees, and no surprise charges — ever. We’re upfront about every cost before you sign up. While certain features or software may include a monthly service fee depending on your business needs, everything is clearly explained in advance. Plus, we never charge for in-person setup, employee training or local support.

A: Most customers understand and accept the small service fee - especially when it's clearly communicated and they have the option to avoid it by paying with cash. Our included signage helps explain the program at the point of sale.
Q: How fast can I get set up?
A: Most merchants are approved and up and running within 24-72 hours. We'll walk you through every step of the process - quickly and painlessly.
Q: What types of credit cards can I accept with this program?
A: You can accept all major credit and
debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and even rewards or business cards - all at the same low rate. There are no upcharges or surprises based on the card type, so you can take payments with confidence.
